And i liked how Tron was a bad guy all the time just to say "I serve for the users" and suddenly become good. The movie was a fucking disaster.marx91https://www.blogger.com/profile/14275463212549562135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8496204323905769705.post-88602057366055498812011-02-09T17:03:45.835-08:002011-02-09T17:03:45.835-08:00I agree 100% with your assesment, including the re...I agree 100% with your assesment, including the reference to "The Big Lebowski" which I also thought because I am a fan of that movie.

Tron, the original movie and not this recent piece of dung, was the movie that clued me into the fact that I was a geek when I was young. There was real plot and character development in the original, not that I could say that for this train wreck of a movie.

To say that I am disspointed that the "sequel" to my all time favorite and most watched movie is the understatement of the century.

What's really sad is the Tron 2.0 video game produced a few years back actually had a better plot, story progression, and character development. Think about that for a second, a video game modeled after a movie was in every way superior to the following "sequel" movie. That totally blows my mind...

Anyway I am with you in that I will be waiting until HBO or Showtime shows the sequels for free, otherwise I have better things to do like watching the cooking channel or something random like that.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8496204323905769705.post-63250786887113299872011-01-25T17:26:16.543-08:002011-01-25T17:26:16.543-08:00Agree 100%. That anyone would consider this a good movie unless they were dosing acid, is beyond me.tea42https://www.blogger.com/profile/02848516783203845093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8496204323905769705.post-30799223574315781392010-12-26T16:36:43.718-08:002010-12-26T16:36:43.718-08:00I fully endorse this review.I fully endorse this review.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8496204323905769705.post-64905339759668650112010-12-26T00:56:03.104-08:002010-12-26T00:56:03.104-08:00don't forget the fact that apparently their ar...don't forget the fact that apparently their are pigs there since they were eating one for dinner. Those have so much potential to be dramatic, horrifying, etc. 2001 was a chilling movie, and Soylent Green was dystopian and terrifically bleak. I wouldn't count them amongst my favorite movies, but Avatar? Tron? Tripe.Obihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06718230754571731437noreply@blogger.com
